The trade window for IPL 2027 has already reshaped three squads before a single name has been retained. 8 players have moved in 3 deals, and one of them is the biggest trade the league has seen: Rishabh Pant, the most expensive player in IPL history, is back at Delhi Capitals. This page lists every confirmed trade, newest first, with the fee each player moves at.
A traded player keeps his existing fee unless the teams agree a new one. Pant, Livingstone and Natarajan all moved at a lower figure than they were bought for, which frees money for the team selling them.
5 Nov 2026: CSK and SRH swap four players
- Liam Livingstone, SRH to CSK, ₹6 crore (was ₹13 crore). England all-rounder, at less than half his ₹13 crore SRH fee.
- Jack Edwards, SRH to CSK, ₹3 crore. Australian seam-bowling all-rounder, missed IPL 2026 with a foot injury.
- Khaleel Ahmed, CSK to SRH, ₹4.8 crore. Left-arm quick back at SRH, where he played 2018 to 2021; 15 wickets in 14 games in 2025.
- Nathan Ellis, CSK to SRH, ₹2 crore. Australian death-overs specialist.
14 Oct 2026: Natarajan back at SRH, Zeeshan Ansari to Delhi
- T Natarajan, DC to SRH, ₹5 crore (was ₹10.75 crore). Returns to the team he played for from 2020 to 2024; 19 wickets in 2024.
- Zeeshan Ansari, SRH to DC, ₹40 lakh. Leg-spinner, six wickets in 10 IPL games, three on debut.
23 Jun 2026: Pant goes home, Kuldeep to Lucknow
- Rishabh Pant, LSG to DC, ₹15 crore (was ₹27 crore). Back where he made 111 appearances, the most for Delhi; down from the ₹27 crore record bid.
- Kuldeep Yadav, DC to LSG, ₹13.5 crore. 72 wickets in 65 games for Delhi since 2022.
What the Trades Mean
Delhi now have two wicketkeeper-batters who can open, Pant and KL Rahul, who made 593 runs for them in 2026. They lose Kuldeep Yadav, their best bowler for five seasons, and gain a young leg-spinner in Zeeshan Ansari. Lucknow get a match-winning spinner and free most of the money they paid for Pant.
Sunrisers Hyderabad were short of wickets in 2026: Eshan Malinga led them with 20, and nobody else passed 15. They now have Natarajan, Khaleel Ahmed and Nathan Ellis, three proven seamers. Chennai, eighth last season, take Liam Livingstone at less than half his old price as a middle-order hitter, plus the all-rounder Jack Edwards.
When Does the Trade Window Close?
Trades can be made up to the retention deadline on 17 November 2026. Under the IPL's usual rules the window reopens after the auction and runs until shortly before the season, so more deals are possible after 16 December.
