In most fantasy cricket, one bad match is forgotten by the next one. Season Fantasy is different. You build one squad for a whole tournament, so a good decision pays for weeks and a poor one keeps costing you. These habits work for any series on CricketDream.
The Rules in One Table
Build a Squad for the Whole Tournament
Your first squad should not be built around one match. Look at the fixtures, then choose players who bat in the top order or bowl their full quota, since they have the most chances to score.
- Spread the budget. Three premium players and a strong middle usually beat five stars and a weak tail.
- Pick all-rounders who truly do both, as they can score twice.
- Check availability first. A star on international duty scores nothing.
Spend Transfers Like a Budget
Divide your allowance by the matches left to see your pace. Transfers are counted net, so a swap you reverse before the next lock costs nothing. Three good uses stand out.
- Replace a player who is ruled out or dropped.
- Move towards clubs with more games coming up.
- Bring in a player in strong form before others catch on.
Your Captain Is Your Best Free Move
Your captain scores double and your vice-captain 1.5x, and you can change both before every match without a transfer. Review them every time. Choose a player who is actually in that match, and prefer top-order batters and strike bowlers.
Read the Fixtures
Season Fantasy rewards planning ahead. In a league, clubs do not always play at the same rate, and a player with four games in a fortnight has twice the chances of one with two. The fixture grid in the Planner shows this at a glance.
Check the XI Before Every Lock
A player who does not play scores 0 for that match. Your team is saved at the scheduled start, so check confirmed XIs and make changes before then.
Play It With Friends
A private league gives every match a reason to matter. Create one in any Season Fantasy, share the code and compare teams through the tournament.
Other Ways to Play
