How to Play Cricket Grid
Cricket Grid is CricketDream's daily cricket immaculate grid — a 3×3 board where each square is an IPL franchise crossed with a cricket category. Name nine real players, one per cell, with no repeats. Everyone gets the same board each day.

- Open today's grid. Go to cricketdream.in/cricket-grid. Everyone gets the same 3×3 board each day, resetting at midnight IST.
- Read the rows and columns. Three IPL franchises run across the rows. Three categories — country, role, career-stat threshold, or format tag — run down the columns.
- Pick a square. Tap any empty cell. A search box opens so you can find a real cricketer who satisfies both the row team and the column category.
- Submit one answer per square. You get exactly one attempt per cell. A correct pick locks green; a wrong pick locks red — you cannot retry that square.
- Avoid repeating players. Each cricketer can only appear once in the grid, even if they would fit multiple intersections.
- Fill all nine and share. Complete the board, see your score out of 9, and share your result grid without spoiling the categories for friends.
What the categories mean
Country
India, Australia, England, South Africa — the player must have represented that nation internationally.
Role
Batter, bowler, all-rounder or wicketkeeper — drawn from their primary international role.
Career stat
Thresholds like 100+ international wickets or 5,000+ runs — verified against career totals.
Format tag
Played Test cricket, ODI World Cup winner, T20I specialist — format-specific career markers.
Scoring and sharing
Your score is simply how many of the nine squares you answered correctly. A perfect grid is 9/9. After you finish, share a colour-coded result card — green for correct, red for missed — without revealing the category answers to friends who have not played yet.
