Cricket Quiz is CricketDream's live multiplayer trivia game — create a room, invite friends, and battle across 8 cricket categories in real time. Fast answers earn bonus points.

How to Start a Quiz Room

1. Go to Quiz in the navigation and click Create Room
2. Choose a category (IPL, World Cup, Players, etc.) or select Mixed for all categories
3. Set the number of questions (5, 10, 15, or 20) and maximum players (up to 8)
4. Share the 6-character room code with friends — they join with one click
5. Once everyone's in, the host clicks Start Quiz
6. Each question appears with a 15-second timer — tap your answer before time runs out

Quiz Categories

Mixed draws from all eight categories — ideal for competitive rounds where no one has a home-turf advantage.

How Scoring Works

• Correct answer: 100 base points
• Speed bonus: faster correct answers earn more — answering in 2 seconds beats answering in 14 seconds
• Wrong answer or no answer: 0 points for that question
• Final score: sum of all question scores — displayed on the leaderboard after each answer is revealed

Quiz Tips

• Speed counts — if you know the answer instantly, tap it immediately for maximum points
• Don't guess randomly — wrong answers score 0, but there's no penalty. If you have a 50/50 read, guess — but random picks on 4-option questions are low-value
• Pick your strength category — play IPL if that's where your knowledge is deepest. Mixed rounds are more unpredictable
• Use trivia practice — browse the Cricket Trivia section to practice questions across all categories before competing
