Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have yet to win the ILT20, but they finished fourth in Season 4 and open Season 5 with a core of four retained or pre-signed players: Sunil Narine, Finn Allen, Jason Holder and Matthew Tromp.
The Knight Riders Group owns the franchise, which means the squad has a strong T20 league pedigree.
