Prediction Oracle Leaderboard: Rank Up by Predicting Match Outcomes Correctly

The Oracle Leaderboard on CricketDream ranks players by prediction accuracy across all Predictor games — not prize money, pure cricket knowledge.

Fantasy cricket rewards your team-building skill. The Oracle Leaderboard rewards something different: your pure cricket knowledge. Answer five questions per match in the Predictor game — who wins, who is Man of the Match, top scorer, top wicket-taker — and your accuracy across every answered match is tracked and ranked publicly.

What Is the Predictor Game?

Before each match, CricketDream opens a Predictor. You answer up to five questions about how the match will unfold. After the match, your answers are compared to the actual result and scored. There are no credits or prizes — the currency is accuracy, and the payoff is your Oracle Leaderboard rank.

How the Oracle Leaderboard Ranks You

  • Minimum 5 total predictions answered across any matches to qualify.
  • Ranked by accuracy percentage: (correct answers / total answers) × 100.
  • Ties broken by total correct answers — more correct predictions wins.
  • Top 100 players shown, updated after every match result is confirmed.

What Questions Are in the Predictor?

  • Match winner: which team will win?
  • Man of the Match: which player earns the MOTM award?
  • Top scorer: which batter scores the most runs?
  • Top wicket-taker: which bowler takes the most wickets?
  • First innings total: how many runs will be scored in the first innings?

Strategy Tips to Climb the Oracle Leaderboard

  • Answer all five questions every match — partial answers mean fewer data points and a lower rank floor.
  • For Man of the Match, favour all-rounders who bat and bowl — they have more paths to MOTM than specialists.
  • Top scorer and wicket-taker questions have the highest volatility — use recent form rather than career stats.
  • First-innings total: weight your guess toward the pitch type. Batting tracks average 180+; bowling tracks 140–160.
💡

The Oracle Leaderboard resets visibility for new accounts. Play five matches first to appear — one correct in five is enough to show on the board and a great starting signal to build from.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Oracle Leaderboard reset between seasons?

The current Oracle Leaderboard is cumulative across all matches played. Seasonal snapshots may be introduced in future updates, but for now your accuracy record is a career total.

Can I change my prediction after submitting?

Predictions lock when the match lock time is reached — the same time as team lock. Before lock, you can update your answers. After lock, they are final.

Is the Oracle Leaderboard separate from the fantasy points leaderboard?

Yes. The Oracle Leaderboard ranks you purely on prediction accuracy — it is independent from your fantasy team performance, your league standings, or any prize pool. Think of it as your cricket-knowledge IQ score.
