Delhi spent big once and then went cheap. Kiran Navgire at 75 lakh is the second-biggest buy of the night and brings back the power hitter UP let go. Uma Kashvi, Kirstie Gordon and Nazma Khan at 10 lakh each are squad cover. They finish on 17 players with 5 lakh left, and still only one specialist keeper in Mamatha Madiwala.
Delhi Capitals start WPL 2027 on Sat 16 Jan against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Vadodara. They play 4 league games in Vadodara and 4 in Mumbai.

Delhi Capitals Likely XI
Our read of the strongest XI, in rough batting order. It respects the four-overseas rule, but it is our opinion, not a team announcement.

- Laura Wolvaardt (Batter, 9 Cr)
- Jemimah Rodrigues (Batter, 9.5 Cr)
- Kiran Navgire (Batter, 8.5 Cr)
- Annabel Sutherland (All-rounder, 9.5 Cr)
- Marizanne Kapp (All-rounder, 9.5 Cr)
- Chinelle Henry (All-rounder, 9 Cr)
- Mamatha Madiwala (Keeper, 7 Cr)
- Minnu Mani (Bowler, 7.5 Cr)
- Nandni Sharma (Bowler, 8.5 Cr)
- N Sree Charani (Bowler, 9 Cr)
The whole XI would cost 96.5 Cr in Season Fantasy. You can take up to eight of them.
Best DC Fantasy Picks
- Premium: Shafali Verma (9.5 Cr), Jemimah Rodrigues (9.5 Cr), Annabel Sutherland (9.5 Cr).
- Value: Mamatha Madiwala (7 Cr) and Minnu Mani (7.5 Cr), both in our likely XI.
- Captain idea: Shafali Verma, the priciest player in the likely XI, on nights when DC look likely to bat second.
Check the confirmed XI before every lock. A squad player who does not start scores nothing, and the planner flags anyone missing from a confirmed XI.
