Three slots, three buys, and done before the accelerated round was half over. G Kamalini at her 40 lakh base is a top-order batter for years to come, Orla Prendergast fills the last overseas spot, and 16-year-old Samaira Raghav rounds off the squad. They leave 45 lakh unspent, which says they got what they wanted for less than they budgeted.
Gujarat Giants start WPL 2027 on Fri 15 Jan against UP Warriorz in Vadodara. They play 5 league games in Vadodara and 3 in Mumbai.

Gujarat Giants Likely XI
Our read of the strongest XI, in rough batting order. It respects the four-overseas rule, but it is our opinion, not a team announcement.
- Beth Mooney (Keeper, 10 Cr)
- Sophie Devine (Batter, 9 Cr)
- G Kamalini (Keeper, 8 Cr)
- Ashleigh Gardner (All-rounder, 10 Cr)
- Bharti Fulmali (Batter, 8 Cr)
- Georgia Wareham (Bowler, 9 Cr)
- Anushka Sharma (All-rounder, 7.5 Cr)
- Kashvee Gautam (Bowler, 8 Cr)
- Tanuja Kanwer (Bowler, 8 Cr)
- Renuka Singh (Bowler, 9 Cr)
- Rajeshwari Gayakwad (Bowler, 7.5 Cr)
The whole XI would cost 94.0 Cr in Season Fantasy. You can take up to eight of them.
Best GG Fantasy Picks
- Premium: Beth Mooney (10 Cr), Ashleigh Gardner (10 Cr), Sophie Devine (9 Cr).
- Value: Anushka Sharma (7.5 Cr) and Rajeshwari Gayakwad (7.5 Cr), both in our likely XI.
- Captain idea: Beth Mooney, the priciest player in the likely XI, on nights when GG look likely to bat second.
Check the confirmed XI before every lock. A squad player who does not start scores nothing, and the planner flags anyone missing from a confirmed XI.
