Gujarat Giants WPL 2027 Squad: 15 Retained, 3 Spots Left
Gujarat Giants finished second in the 2026 league table, two points behind RCB, before Delhi beat them by seven wickets in the Eliminator. They have kept almost all of that squad. Fifteen players are retained, more than any other franchise, so only three spots are open at the auction.
Ashleigh Gardner, the captain, is on ₹3.5 crore, joint top of the whole retention list. Beth Mooney (₹2.5 crore) and Sophie Devine (₹2 crore) are also back. Devine was the 2026 Purple Cap winner with 17 wickets and the season MVP. ₹1.25 crore is left for two Indian players and one overseas player.
