Gujarat Giants are the team least likely to change. They kept 15 players, more than anyone, after finishing second in the 2026 table two points behind RCB. That left three spots to fill in Kochi.
With ₹1.25 crore for those three, they can spend about ₹42 lakh per player. Only UP Warriorz can spend more per slot.
All five purses, the full auction pool and every retained squad, in one place.

Ashleigh Gardner, the captain, is joint top of the whole retention list at ₹3.5 crore. Beth Mooney (₹2.5 crore) and Sophie Devine (₹2 crore) are also back. Devine took 17 wickets in 2026 and won both the Purple Cap and the MVP award. Georgia Wareham and Kim Garth complete a five-player overseas group.
Two Indian Spots, One Overseas
Gujarat have room for two Indian players and one overseas player. Three players they released are in the auction list: batter Ayushi Soni and bowler Titas Sadhu at ₹30 lakh, and wicketkeeper Shivani Singh at ₹10 lakh. Danielle Wyatt-Hodge, released as an overseas player, is not in the list.
Gujarat could chase one big name. With ₹1.25 crore and three players to sign, they could put up to ₹1.05 crore on one player and still fill the other two spots at ₹10 lakh each.
After Kochi
Beaten by seven wickets in the 2026 Eliminator, Gujarat have still not reached a WPL final. They go into season five as the most settled squad.
