Delhi Capitals WPL 2027: Retained Squad and Auction Purse
Delhi Capitals have reached every WPL final so far and lost all four, the last of them to RCB in Vadodara when 203 was not enough. They have kept faith with the group that got them there. Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Marizanne Kapp and Annabel Sutherland were all retained at ₹2.2 crore, and the four of them account for ₹8.8 crore of the ₹13.9 crore Delhi have committed.
Thirteen players stay, five of them overseas. That leaves five open spots, only one of them for an overseas player, and ₹1.10 crore to fill them, an average of ₹22 lakh a player.
