How WPL Fantasy Works
WPL Season Fantasy is a free game for the whole Women's Premier League 2027. Pick 11 players from the five teams on a 100 Cr budget, name a captain and vice-captain, and keep managing the team across all 22 matches, from the Vadodara opener on 14 January 2027 to the Final at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on 7 February. There is no entry fee and no prize money, so you play for the leaderboard and for bragging rights in your private leagues.

WPL Fantasy Tips Before the First Lock
- Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz play five of their eight league games in Vadodara, where every game up to 24 January is played. The other three teams play four in each city. The planner shows every gap between games.
- Smriti Mandhana won the Orange Cap in 2026 with 377 runs, and Sophie Devine was Purple Cap and MVP. Both are back with the same teams.
- UP Warriorz made eight buys at the auction, led by Sophie Molineux at Rs 1.1 crore. Their 2027 XI looks very different from the side that finished last.
- All 22 games start at 7:30 PM IST, so dew in the second innings is worth thinking about when you pick bowlers and the captain.

What is WPL Fantasy?
WPL Fantasy on CricketDream is a free fantasy league for the whole Women's Premier League 2027. You pick 11 players from the five teams on a 100 Cr budget, name a captain and vice-captain, and manage the team with 75 transfers from the opener on 14 January to the Final on 7 February.
Is WPL fantasy free?
Yes. WPL Season Fantasy on CricketDream has no entry fee and no cash prizes.
What is WPL Season Fantasy?
It is the season-long version of WPL fantasy. Instead of a new team for every match, you keep one team for all 22 games and make transfers as form and fixtures change.
When does WPL 2027 fantasy start?
The first lock is the Royal Challengers Bengaluru v Mumbai Indians opener at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday 14 January 2027 at 7:30 PM IST.
How many transfers do you get in WPL Season Fantasy?
75 across all 22 matches. Changing your captain or vice-captain does not use a transfer.
How do I play WPL fantasy with friends?
Build your team, then create a private league and share its invite code or link. Friends join with the code and you get your own table alongside the global leaderboard.
Can I pick more than eight players from one WPL team?
No. At most 8 of your 11 can come from the same team. The cap counts the WPL team a player is signed to, not her country.
Where are the WPL 2027 matches played?
The first 11 matches are at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara from 14 to 24 January. The last 11, including the Eliminator on 5 February and the Final on 7 February, are at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
Is this separate from WBBL Season Fantasy?
Yes. WPL and WBBL are separate games with separate teams, so you can play both, even though many players appear in both leagues.
Is there a single-match WPL fantasy game as well?
Yes. Fantasy XI lets you pick a new team for each WPL match, and Draft and Match Predictor are free too.
