The top three in each group go through to the Super 7, joined by the better of the two fourth-placed sides. Super 7 seeds are fixed slots the ICC has pre-assigned so fixtures and venues are known in advance. They are not group finishing positions.

Twelve venues: eight in South Africa, three in Zimbabwe and one in Namibia. South Africa stages 41 of the 57 matches, Zimbabwe 10 and Namibia 6.

Hosts the final on 21 November, as it did in 2003, plus India v Pakistan on 10 October. South Africa's biggest ground, with a capacity of over 30,000.

Opens the Group Stage with India v Australia on 7 October and hosts the first semi-final on 17 November.
🌊 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
The new Mosi-oa-Tunya Stadium hosts its first World Cup match, Zimbabwe v India on 24 October, then three Super 7 games.
🇳🇦 Windhoek, Namibia
The Namibia Cricket Ground opens the tournament with all three Super Series matches, then hosts three group games, two of them involving England.

All three host countries are on UTC+2, so India Standard Time is three and a half hours ahead of every venue. Gqeberha was formerly Port Elizabeth, KuGompo City was formerly East London, and SuperSport Park is in Centurion, part of the City of Tshwane.

How to Get World Cup 2027 Tickets
Tickets are sold through an ICC ballot that opened on 1 October 2026: you register, and allocations are made from the entries. The ICC says prices start at USD 9.62 (R158) for entry-level tickets and go up to USD 31.31 (R514) for the highest-tier matches. There are also family bundles, student and pensioner prices, early-bird local allocations and group pricing for community clubs and schools.
