When Perth won their sixth title, Mitch Marsh and Finn Allen put on 80 for the first wicket in a chase of 133. Allen has gone. Marsh, contracted to BBL|17, is now the senior name at the top of the Scorchers order.
Marsh averages 36.52 in the BBL, a very high number for a player who has batted through the order. There are 13 fifties and two hundreds in 83 games, and the 104 sixes show the method.
