The WPL 2027 player auction is on Wednesday 28 October at the Grand Hyatt in Kochi, starting at 5:30 PM IST. 146 players are in the final list and 27 will be bought: 20 Indian and 7 overseas. The season itself runs from 14 January to 7 February 2027.

Of the 119 Indian players, 22 are capped and 97 uncapped. Of the 27 overseas players, 14 are capped, 13 uncapped, and six of them come from Associate nations. 106 players start at the ₹10 lakh base price. Sophia Dunkley and Sophie Molineux have the top base price of ₹50 lakh.
